Overview
Casa Blu is an exclusive villa on the sea in Fontane Bianche, a well-known beach resort just to the south of Syracuse. Its splendid location, in a quiet residence, overlooking low rocks and sparkling waters makes for a perfect, unforgettable, beach holiday. The sea is just a few metres away and ideal for swimming. The villa prides itself on its beautifully planned garden and outdoor facilities with comfortable sofas, chaises longues, armchairs, chairs and tables for use all through the day and in the evening. A freestanding veranda, extending from the lounge, creates a harmonious continuum between the interior and exterior of the villa. The veranda leads into the living area and through to the kitchen and to both bedrooms. Tastefully furnished in a contemporary, elegant style, the villa’s all-white finish gives light and freshness creating a refined, welcoming atmosphere. Casa Blu is also an ideal base for discovering the enchanting artistic and architectural delights of south-east Sicily and of its Baroque towns such as Syracuse, Noto, Modica, Ragusa-Ibla, all part of UNESCO’s cultural heritage. Other important places to visit include lively Catania, charming Taormina, the characteristic fishing villages of Portopalo and Marzamemi, the nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari, the beach at Calamosche, the natural park of Etna and the island of Capo Passero.

Federica, What a beautiful location and very homey! You were a delight to work with, along with being an helpful host when uncertain circumstances arose. Very professional. We throughly enjoyed our two weeks here and visited so many wonderful towns within a 30 – 40 minute Noto is a great place to visit for the day, and especially at night time 7:00 – 11:00 pm The perfect ocean views experience with homemade meals and nice Italian wines. E’ una casetta con una posizione su scogli invidiabile ma per avere una piena valutazione dovrebbe essere migliorata in alcuni punti fondamentali dato anche il costo elevato: Una disinfestazione da formiche poiché eravamo invasi anche nel frigorifero e sul letto ed abbiamo una casa al mare anche noi e sappiamo che esistono procedure per evitare spiacevoli inconvenienti - aria condizionata super rumorosa che è impossibile da tenere la notte accesa se vuoi dormire Punti che non mi fanno dare il massimo del punteggio

We felt that the location and setting of Casa Blu was excellent. The outside area and terrace was most certainly our favourite place to spend time. We had issues with ants indoors in the living room and the kitchen, even though we kept the areas, countertops, and floor clean and free of food. Also, we found the air-conditioning to be very loud, much louder than typical central air, split units, or any home or hotel we have been stayed before. The 3 star rating is really because of this air-conditioning noise, so much so we had to leave it off when we slept. Federica was a star and lovely, giving us many tips and places we could visit and eat. Please do take care of the air-conditioning unit and I would readily recommend this property to my friends.
