Overview
Delightful, charming house on the edge of Buseto Palizzolo, a small hillside village in northern Sicily, 15 kilometres from Trapani. The house, recently and accurately restored, is part of an ancient and evocative baglio - a traditional and characteristic rural architectural structure consisting of a central courtyard with outlying buildings - and includes, as well as Titi, the house of Don Carlo, of Marietta and that of the owners, who with professional discretion are always ready and willing to offer help and advice. At the edge of the property, protected by thickets and greenery, the splendid swimming pool with solarium offers the chance to relax for all the guests of Titi, Don Carlo and Marietta. Titi itself personifies the soul of real Sicily with its perfect blend of tradition and modernity, style and comfort. Wood beamed ceilings and thick stone walls characterize a welcoming living/dining room with a fireplace and kitchenette, a romantic double bedroom, a walk-through bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms. Casa Titi is also the ideal base for exploring the charms of the local area. The beach of San Vito Lo Capo, the nature reserve of the Zingaro, the stacks at Scopello, the medieval town of Erice, the temple of Segesta, Trapani, Marsala, Mozia and the Egadi islands are all just a few kilometres away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Baglio Maranzano - Titi. The host ensured everything was perfect and we were left to enjoy our experience in Sicily. The surrounding areas of Western Sicily including Trapani, Zingaro and the beaches of Golfo were outstanding. I highly recommend BM - Titi to couples and small families, you have a wonderful holiday. We will definitely return.

It was a very nice house but not enough material for the kitchen to cook. The rest was really nice especially the garden and the swimming pool !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Buseto Palizzolo chez Giuseppe et Valentina. La maison est très agréable dans un joli environnement. Point de départ idéal pour découvrir la région nord-ouest.

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely part of Sicily. We have really enjoyed the pool and the garden. Trips we enjoyed: Erice, Segesta, Scopello. San Vito Lo Capo was extraordinary busy despite going mid-week and not really our thing. The ferries to the islands need booking in advance, so plan ahead. Trapani market occurs every Thursday, near the old town and you can get everything there! The walk around the zingaro reserve is spectacular – but hot with no water/food – so go early with decent shoes – but is an absolutely must.

Fantastic stay in a lovely property. Great area to explore from the beaches at San Vito, to Marsala tasting and trip to Mozia. The walk to the Zingaro national Park was a little too hot, but made the pool essential when we came back! Managed to visit Erice when it wasn’t shrouded in cloud and the trip up in the cable car is a must for the spectacular view of Trapani, the salt pans and the islands. The Genovese cakes in Erice are the best when fresh baked in the morning from Maria Grammatico cake shop. Lots more still to explore in this part of Sicily so a return visit is required! Thanks to Giuseppe and Valentina for their hospitality.

What a beautiful place to stay. The house was so Italian in style and renovated very sensitively. The owners were so kind and thoughtful. Being October they gave us wood so we could have a fire in the evening – most welcome. We had two memorable trips: south the salt pan area and to Selinunte. Also a must is a trip to San Vito Lo Capo – lots of people on the beach enjoining the sun.

All is exactly as described, maybe even better. The owners have two amazing nice houses rebuilt in a traditional farmhouse of 500 years old. The kitchen is well equipped,American fridge,bedrooms are large with good mattresses. For the little ones there are plenty of toys and beach gear present. Wi-Fi and airco is available. The courtyard, where we had breakfast every day,is an oasis of calm. The pool is surrounded by a lovely garden. In the village itself is not much to do, but all the daily groceries are available. 1 Minute walk and you can buy sandwiches, ice cream,pastries and sweets or drink a coffee or beer on the terrace. Supermarket is about 5 minute drive. There are not many restaurants,but for a good pizza or meat dish you must be at Trattoria Peppe E Nino. From Buseto Palizzolo you can make many day trips such as to Trapani,Erice,Marsale,San Vito Lo Capo,Segeste,Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello and the Zingaro Reserve, all accessible in a maximum of a one hour drive. Had a amazing stay at this property. Hosts were incredible. Never had such a helpful hosts. Veranda and pool were the one of the best attraction in the property which it self gives you a nice warm and cosy feeling. House is very well equipped with all the necessary items, including beach umbrellas, child play stuff etc. Only thing we lack was a microwave. Reheating appliance was only with grill option, which made plates hotter then food itself. Beware that Veranda is made of all stones, so young babies might hurt them self if they trip over. All in all, wonderful property, great location and great host. Will definitely advice this to fellow travelers

Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver la maison dans le village, mais à notre arrivée, l'accueil des propriétaires, tout en gentillesse, discrétion, simplicité, la joliesse de la maison, de son jardin et du patio (ah! les belles et longues soirées siciliennes!) la beauté de cette ile et sa richesse culturelle, tout a fait que nos vacances ont été un pur moment de plaisir! Nous espérons vraiment revenir vite, il y a tant à voir et à faire! Merci à tous et plus particulièrement Valentina et Guiseppe (mmmh! les petites poires!!) à bientôt de revoir la Sicile!
