Al Monumento is a refined and comfortable residence located in a characteristic alley of the historic centre of Modica, a short stroll from the wonderful Cathedral of San Pietro and the elegant Corso Umberto. Recently renovated, the apartment is spread across a single level and has a spacious living room overlooking the terrace. Then there is an open kitchen and 4 double bedrooms, all with private bathroom-shower. These comfortable interiors, furnished with particular care, are fitted out with all modern comforts: Wi-Fi, 5 Smart TVs, air-conditioning, heating, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, electric oven, microwave and espresso/American coffee maker. All rooms are air-conditioned. The central location of the residence means you are immediately immersed in the magical atmosphere of this charming baroque town. Al Monumento is also an excellent starting point for easily reaching Scicli, Ragusa-Ibla, Noto and Syracuse by car, as well as the beautiful beaches of Pozzallo and Marina di Modica and the seaside villages of Sampieri, Donnalucata and Marzamemi.

1. We absolutely loved our stay at Al Monumento. The apartment is in the perfect spot — right in the heart of Modica and it felt peaceful and private. It’s beautifully decorated, with elegant furniture, soft lighting, and a real sense of style. Everything felt brand new and spotless. 2. The apartment itself is stunning — spacious, beautifully furnished, and full of light. Every room has been thoughtfully designed, blending modern comfort with a touch of local character. The furniture is elegant; solid wood tables, soft seating, and tasteful décor that gives the space a warm, homey feel. The lighting is another highlight: soft, well-placed throughout. 3. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plush pillows and crisp linens, and the towels were thick and fresh — small details that made the stay feel luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the terrace was our favourite spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is a sense of luxury everywhere.
